The 94th Assembly is winding down with very promising results. We extend our sincerest appreciation to all those who dedicated their time and efforts, including Legislators, Prosecutors Association, Governor’s office, the new Arkansas State Police Director, Sheriffs Association and even the unsuccessful opposition. It was undoubtedly a strenuous process, and we thank everyone for their contribution.

We are encouraged to report that our Bills have progressed well, and on the way to passing into law. The Felons Bill has received Bi-partisan support in the House and is headed to the Senate for final review, thanks to the tireless efforts of the Sponsor. (Update: Felons Bill failed in the Senate)

Our Journey law technical correction Bill successfully cleared House Judiciary last night and is now headed to the House Floor for final vote, the Permitless Carry Bill also cleared House Judiciary last night and will get a full House vote. Our Business Firearm Protection Bill cleared the House and is now headed to the Senate with a lot of support. The Definition of a Loaded Firearm bill will have a final Senate vote today before it heads to the Governor’s desk.

We would like to express our deepest gratitude to our paid membership who have made this process smoother for us.

We will have a final update on these Bills as they head to the Governor’s Office for their final determination.

Respectfully
Gary Epperson
